It is your time to shine with Healings of Life

 "Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."

One thing I heard in rehab that I have still not forgotten after 21 years, is that a duck can only be a duck. They do not have a choice. A cow can only be a cow, a cat, a cat, etc. Not saying beautiful animals don't enjoy being who they are by any means, they may absolutely LOVE it. But that is not the point I am making here, nor the point when this was said.

So, a duck can only be a duck. They do not have a choice. As humans, we have choices and can be whoever we want to be. We can be musicians, singers, writers, actors, waiters/waitresses, truck driver... anything we want. We have options and what we do with those options is up to us. Really, for your life, it is up to you.

We live on a planet that rotates on it's own in the middle of outer space. The perfect distance from the sun so we do not burn to ashes, and just far away enough where we do not completely freeze. The sun comes out every single morning at precisely the right time, and the moon comes out every single night, again, right on time. We don't ever have to wonder if the sun, moon, or stars will come out. We just know, and most of us take it for granted. Just like we know if we plant this seed in dirt and soil, and sunlight, it will turn into a beautiful flower. Just think how miraculous this all really is, and that we are alive right now at this very moment.

If you look around you, wherever you are, the building you are in or if you are outside, the buildings or benches around you were not there a million years ago. Even a thousand years ago. And most likely, not even 100 years ago. And the building you are in right now, or chair, or buildings around you will one day be dust and will no longer exist. Just like where you are now at one point in time looked completely different, it will again, look completely different from what it looks like now.

So let us remember that we only have this moment. We have this one life to do what our hearts are calling us to do. Try not to think about what other people want you to do, but look deep into your heart and find what is calling YOU.

We are not ducks, we are humans with endless possibilities. We HAVE choices. We live in a universe with infinite possibilities and own free will. So please, let us make the most of this life while we are here.
